Corporate Engagement Officer 

Learning Partnerships is a Leeds based community charity, with almost 30 years of experience of working within the lowest 20% of the most deprived inner-city areas nationally, to provide opportunities and support for children, young people and adults to access education, employment, training and volunteering.

Every year we help over 1200 people, many with barriers which prevent them from participating equally in society and our mission is to reduce deprivation and improve wellbeing in Leeds by offering a range of support and development opportunities.

We would like to appoint a Corporate Engagement Officer to join our team. This post will work closely with our Executive Team and will be responsible for generating income through business and corporate engagement. The increase in funds will enable us to continue with existing services, but to also extend or explore new services we can offer to the ever changing needs of the communities in which we serve.

Successful candidates will have/be:

  • Past experience of working in a similar role or fundraising, business development or account management
  • Experience of successfully generating income from the corporate/business community
  • Pro-active with excellent written, verbal and networking skills
  • The ability to build strong relationships, both internal and external, at a range of levels
  • A confident speaker, capable of delivering inspiring pitches and influencing potential and existing supporters
  •  Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage your workload and multi-task
  • A good network of contacts

Job Details

Salary: £20,000 (actual salary)


21 hours per week / Start Date: TBC


12 month fixed term contract
