THE JOB ZONE partnership tackles low skills, worklessness, poverty and social exclusion. It is led by Learning Partnerships and enables us to support parents and other adults into work, thus completing the circle from economical exclusion to economic inclusion.

The Future Jobs Fund Programme creates job opportunities for young people aged 18-24. All Jobs are for a minimum of 25 hours per week and last a minimum of 6 months. They are all paid at least minimum wage and all have direct benefit to local communities.

PARENT ACTION LEARNING SETS (PALS) ended in March 2007. It was a family learning project set up to help parents gain the skills they need to bring up their children. The project was run in the Harehills, Burmantofts and Chapeltown areas of Leeds.
