XPERIENCE9 (Slipstream to Upstream) ended in March 2008. The aim was to engage and support young people aged 16–18 to complete an innovative 12 week programme to develop basic life skills, work experience, and volunteering opportunities.

MILLENIUM VOLUNTEERS (MV) was a UK-wide scheme for 16–24 year olds designed to help and support young people to develop their skills and experiences through a wide range of volunteering opportunities. The national programme ended in March 2008.

SKILLZONE ended in 2006. The project provided tuition in basic skills to those whose needs were not met by traditional adult education classes. It encouraged students, once they have gained confidence, to continue their studies through more formal courses.

PARENT ACTION LEARNING SETS (PALS) ended in March 2007. It was a family learning project set up to help parents gain the skills they need to bring up their children. The project was run in the Harehills, Burmantofts and Chapeltown areas of Leeds.
